The general view is that we are out of the recession and there is no sign of a "double dip" either. Car sales are up and with a bit of luck we will have a decent summer in the service and repair sector as well. With that in mind this issue of the Carwood "TIPS" newsletter includes the seasonal topic of air conditioning, with a biefing on the new legislation and what it may mean for you, there is also a nice offer on Bosch injectors plus a look at "biodiesel" fuel.

A new year and a new decade mean new challenges in the vehicle parts and service market. Key issues are:
- reduced new vehicle sales, particularly in the CV segment, meaning more repairs and rectification
- pressure on carbon footprint reduction
- pressure to recycle and conserve energy/resources
- pressure on profits and margins
Carwood can help you meet these demands with OE standards of products and services at commercially competitive prices. We re-manufacture major units such as fuel pumps and injectors as long as it can be done whilst maintaining OE performance and specification. This reduces raw material and energy consumption with two major benefits: it saves you money and it saves the planet.
